Today the event industry in India is said to cross 10,000 Crores by FY2020-21 according to an EEMA(Event & Entertainment Management Association) report. This industry which stood at a valuation of 5,631 Crore Rs. In FY2016-17 has since been growing at a CAGR of 16%, overtaking even the Media & Entertainment(M&E) industry which is growing at a CAGR of 11-13%. This can very evidently be seen in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and other Tier-1 metropolitan cities where a wide range of big and small budget events like business conferences, corporate leadership seminars, exhibitions of various kinds, music concerts, festivals, marriages and other types of celebrations are organized in a planned and managed in a professional manner with the help of Event Planners and Managers.

 But India is a large country with it’s cultures and languages as diverse as it’s terrain is warried across the vast stretch of land that it covers. And so is the scenario with the Events industry wherein, it is very much organised in the big cities, but is often scattered and seldom even absent completely in smaller cities altogether.

For example, event planners are looked down upon by people as people who eat money from both their employers providing no actual service when in actuality, event planners can provide people with better services like latest tent designs or package deals at lower prices than what they would normally wouldn’t get by dealing with vendors personally. Today, every tent supplier who knows a decent caterer or has some relative working for a lawn or guest house calls themselves a so-called ‘Event Manager’, but the reality is that the job of an Event Manager goes much beyond the scope of venue and catering management. What an Event Management firm charges you for is about planning and managing the flawless execution of the event in question,; not just not just booking lawns and managing equipment, food and decorations in weddings. EVENTLOPE’s small but committed team is working hard and has stayed strong even as the world was hit by COVID lockdowns, where the business of many companies suffered and many sponsors are unsure of following through with their sponsorship commitments amidst fears of an incoming Third wave of the COVID pandemic, EVENTLOPE was among the few companies nation-wide to shift to online platforms and organizing various successful LIVE Virtual events and building strong business relationships with the local vendors. Their notable events during the lockdowns include a nation-wide beauty pageant and the online version of a very popular social Event BEBAAK.
